    Congrats Okies !

Would do almost anything to have that here in Flori-Duh, but there’s waaaaaaaaaaay too many of ‘those people’ in waaaaaaaaaaay too many positions of power and (some say more importantly) positions of - nudge - influence.

      Yup.

Even Oklahoma, though, has its RINOs. David Holt is a nominally Republican mayor of Oklahoma City. This RINO not only signed the petition to block constitutional carry, but bragged about it on Twitter: https://twitter.com/davidfholt/status/1164342116060934145

Fortunately despite the cravenness of the RINOs, the anti-constitutionalists opposed to Okies’ right to defend themselves and their loved ones failed last month to get enough signatures: https://kfor.com/2019/09/05/group-seeking-to-overturn-oklahoma-gun-law-falls-short/

We know that violent crime is falling. This is what the FBI said last week:

      https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-releases-2018-crime-statistics

In 2018, violent crime was down 3.3 percent from the 2017 number.

      And from 2008 to 2017:

      https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2017/crime-in-the-u.s.-2017/topic-pages/violent-crime

estimated violent crime total… [was] 10.6 percent below the 2008 level

We also know that the number of concealed carry permit holders is growing–despite the popularity of constitutional carry, now in 16 states, which means permits are less necessary:

      https://crimeresearch.org/2019/10/new-concealed-carry-report-for-2019-18-66-million-permit-holders-despite-16-constitutional-carry-states-over-1-4-million-more-than-last-year/

In 2019, the number of concealed handgun permits soared to now over 18.66 million– a 304% increase since 2007. About an 8% growth over the number of permits since 2018.

This is reality. Why is the left in denial?
