I saw this fairly shortly after Declan posted. It’s taken me quite a while to calm down enough to post a comment without losing my fu…… without losing my mothe….. Nope. Tain’t there yet. Looks like I need to go back to the 100-yard stress-relief center for a bit more….. um….. yeah.

It just seems weird to me. Is it really worth it for Mr. Thousand Oaks Police Chief Tim Hagel to annoy that many residents and (presumably) fellow officers? Is this virtue signaling really that important?

Or worse yet maybe he’s a true believer in Orange Man Bad Orange Man Voters Bad. The fact that a police chief felt compelled to post on Twitter a snarky note about firearm stores in Texas suggests that might be the case: https://twitter.com/hageltim/status/680516763339997184

It’s typical Democrat Califailure. They’re just getting started.

The Blue Bowl was supposed to happen at Newbury Park High School on Sunday. Thousands of dollars had already been raised for Sgt. Helus’ family, but now all that money is being returned to donors after organizers say Thousand Oaks Police Chief Tim Hagel convinced organizations to pull out of the event.

What’s more important? Honoring one of your fellow “brothers and sisters in blue”… or engaging in the left’s favorite pastimes of virtue-signaling and deplatforming?

Guess we know which it is for Thousand Oaks Police Chief Tim Hagel.
