Looking at Wisconsin’s statutes, there’s nothing saying ‘warning shots’ are not legal. There’s also nothing saying ’warning shots are legal.
However, Wisconsin’s ‘castle doctrine’ provides that - paraphrasing/condensing….. any action to stop the threat to a person’s property or self is justified.
