Filed on 23 December directly to the state appellate court. The City of Weston is lead in the suit. Why ? Because that’s where Debbie Wasserman-Schultz lives.
My home county (Broward) and several cities in-county are part of the suit. I’m honestly surprised my city is not involved (our mayor is a ‘big gun’ - pun intended - in Mr. Bloomberg’s civilian disarmament busines).
If the typical Democrats prevail and it’s held up in state appellate and state supreme court, places as small as individual subdivisions up through cities and entire counties will be able to set their own rules regarding ownership, posession and carry of anything resembling a weapon.
You could be perfectly legal on one side of the street and a felon if you attempt to cross the road.
Coupled with the existing ‘red flag’ law in force, this lawsuit if successful and upheld, would obliterate the 2nd amendment in Florida and almost assuredly result in….. yeah.
