So, the snark just kinda sorta maybe happened for me……

Unanimous ruling by the Califailure state supreme court: We hate him with every fiber of our being, but OrangeManBad Drumpf does not have to disclose his tax returns to be on the 2020 presidential election ballot in Califailure.

But there’s nothing we can (or will) do if his tax returns (and anything else private) ‘somehow’ - ahem - cough, cough - leak out. Also, there’s nothing we in the court can (or will) do if, on election day, all the ballots state wide ‘somehow’ - ahem - cough, cough - don’t have (we in Califailure demand Congress impeach him now !) his name on them.

Anyone taking bets on how long before the Califailure state supreme court justices get a nudge or two each from their own people (typical Democrats) due to the ruling ?

Hmm. I’m reminded of what the leader of the #MediaJackals pack published based on private info it should not have been able to obtain:

The data — printouts from Mr. Trump’s official Internal Revenue Service tax transcripts, with the figures from his federal tax form, the 1040, for the years 1985 to 1994 — represents the fullest and most detailed look to date at the president’s taxes, information he has kept from public view… [We] received the information contained in the returns from someone who had legal access to it.

But not the legal right to give it to the NYT.
