If the linked article is correct, calling this guy a “spy” is accurate.

There is a common complaint in conservative circles that President Trump was unable to find enough skilled staffers to take over key positions. Because of that, there were lots of Obama administration holdovers, who gleefully undermined the president’s agenda.

Mitt Romney would not have had this problem. But because President Trump expressed some nationalist sentiments, and dared to criticize endless wars in the Middle East that benefit other nations but not America, his administration became politically toxic. #MediaJackals at Business Insider gleefully yipped about this last year in an article headlined: “Why ex-Trump staffers can’t get jobs.”

It strikes me as possible that no nationalist/pro-peace president will be able to find sufficient staffers to fill these jobs, and even if he can, the bureaucracy will thwart policies it dislikes. This means the nation is, at least at the federal level, literally ungovernable by a president who disagrees with the leftist policy consensus. The Deep State has won.
