Unless SCOTUS slaps down the Democrats’ anti-constitutional attempt to repeal the Second Amendment inside state borders, look for things to get even worse fast.
California law outlaws the mere possession of so-called ghost guns that you assemble or manufacture yourself. From the state attorney general’s statement:
California law also requires individuals who possess, manufacture, or assemble firearms in the state to
apply to the DOJ for a unique serial number for each self-made firearm.
Any person who possesses a self-manufactured or self-assembled firearm that does not bear a
serial number must apply to the DOJ for a unique serial number by January 1, 2019.
After permanently placing the serial number on the firearm, you must upload photographs through
the DOJ’s website.
With limited exceptions, the sale or transfer of ownership of self-manufactured or self-assembled
firearms is prohibited under California law
It’s almost like criminals intent on violating one law might not have a problem with violating another. But somehow the response is always to enact more laws making otherwise law-abiding Americans criminals…
