Boeing CEO David Calhoun: “The recovery is going to be slow, with air traffic languishing at depressed levels for months.” When asked if a major airline would fold, he replied “Yes, most likely. Something will happen when September comes around. Traffic levels will not be back to 100%. They won’t even be back to 25%. Maybe by the end of the year we approach 50%. So there will definitely be adjustments that have to be made on the part of the airlines.”

September is when the government’s payroll aid to the airline industry is set to expire.

Notice that’s not a loan…. it’s aid….. as in ‘Here’s a several billion un-funded and added-to-the-national-debt taxpayer dollars for each of you, Mr. Half-Trillion-Dollar Airlines. Use it all however you wish, the taxpayers won’t do a thing to us for flat-out giving you their money.

Unlike the loans all small business - the ones really driving state, county and local economic engines - are required to get if they want to survive the on-purpose - call it a bio-war - Chinese Kung Flu that started ‘out of nowhere’ and with government reactions - nudge-driven by purely evil people (a.k.a. Democrats and one-worlders) killing the nation’s core.
