The #MediaJackalry here is remarkable. The linked article, in dulcet tones, complains that advocates of self-defense rights in Virginia will “defy new laws.”
The truth is of course the opposite. Those patriotic Virginians are upholding the law–the highest written law of the land, the U.S. Constitution. Any state “law” that violates it is illegal and no law at all. (There is also the unwritten law, natural law, but we don’t need to go there to make this point.)
If the right enacted a law banning, say, abortion, the #MediaJackals of the left would howl and whine and pee all over themselves about how the law is unjust and unfair and resisters are heroes of the revolution–despite “abortion rights” never appearing in the Constitution.
But if the left enacts a law banning guns in common use, the #MediaJackals of the left will yip and yowl about how the law is just and fair and resisters are Nazi deplorable racist supremacist Trump-voting haters–despite self-defense rights being protected by the Second Amendment.
