This #MediaJackal appears to be a Singapore citizen, ethnically Chinese, named Wee Kek Koon, whose entire experience traveling and living in these United States has been a brief trip to the representative People’s Republic of San Francisco:
I have only been to the United States once, to San Francisco many years ago, and so my knowledge of the US is almost exclusively gleaned from news reports, movies and television, as well as a handful of American friends, who have lived outside their country for a long time…
There are many things that could be said about this poorly argued article, none complimentary. But what’s interesting to me is that this Wee Kek Koon #MediaJackal could easily take up residence among the elites in the People’s Republic or Park Slope and feel at home. Perhaps a job at Salon or Slate penning screeds against the Second Amendment, limited government, the U.S. Constitution, white people, etc. awaits.
Our transnational elites have far more in common with one other than with the normals they seek to rule.
