The point of the article is correct. But the headline is a bit off.
My suspicion is that those “missteps” and “selective coverage” have finally exposed the yipping, baying #MediaJackals for what they are. They are biased against conservatives and the right. They are biased against devout Christians. They are biased against the right to self-defense. They are biased against straight white men and traditional families. They are, increasingly, biased against normal Americans.
We would not call it ethical for a judge to pose as neutral but prejudge a case because of deeply held bias. Nor is it ethical for a so-called reporter to pose as neutral but prejudge a story because of deeply held bias. Both examples are unethical. #MediaJackals deserve the nickname.
The American public is finally (thank goodness) figuring this out.
