The article is better than I expected given the publication. History probably would show that firearm ownership only recently became a partisan issue; these are odd times. The FDR Library and Museum proudly proclaims that the Democrats’ favorite president enjoyed fishing and “going off on hunting trips.” Maybe it’s even true.
So is it better to encourage the pro-gun left in hopes they parade crippled trans black lesbian AR-15 owners in front of the cameras and split the Democrat Party? Or is it better to try to discourage them (or ignore them) so the other side has fewer guns if things go south at some point?
The answer may depend on how likely the crippled-trans-black-lesbian parade strategy is to change the Democrat Party’s anti-self defense platform. Seems unlikely to me.
