This seems to be depressing (at least for those of us who value human life) but in retrospect predictable.
Planned Parenthood and their fellow abortion advocates would not have been able to get Roe v. Wade accomplished through the legislative process, or via a national plebiscite if any had existed. But they were able to backdoor the Constitution through judicial recognition of heretofore unsuspected penumbral “rights.”
Similarly, Planned Parenthood and their fellow abortion advocates recognize that their extreme proposals (abortion until birth! and afterwards too!) don’t have enough popular support to be enacted into law at the moment. And with President Trump gleefully appointing judges skeptical of heretofore unsuspected penumbral “rights,” abortion advocates seem to be doubling down on their already near-complete occupation of Hollywood.
Apparently politics is downstream of culture is downstream of Hollywood screenwriters is downstream of “Caren Spruch, Planned Parenthood’s director of arts and entertainment engagement.”
