It’s entertaining to see this anti-constitutionalist Democrat calling himself an attorney general stressing that “local authority is subordinate to state law.”

What this anti-constitutionalist fails to acknowledge is that state law is subordinate to the U.S. Constitution and the Virginia Constitution. He claims that “local officials are obligated to follow duly enacted state laws”–but of course the type of laws the anti-constitutionalist Democrats envision are anti-constitutional and therefore not “duly enacted.”

The text of the Virginia Constitution is worth highlighting here. Its Bill of Rights, Section 13, says:

That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…

The “body of the people” in the state of Virginia are organizing. They are the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state. They are making sure that the “right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” God bless them all.
