If forced to vote Democrat, I’d vote for Tulsi Gabbard. She seems smart and more independent-minded than the rest of the lot. Her father is a practicing Catholic, so at least she might not try to outlaw Christianity as thoughtcrime, though I believe she is a Hindu. She has criticized wars for regime change, which threatens the ongoing must-have-war-somewhere policy and billions in related spending. If the Deep State does not possess kompromat on her, she could be dangerous to them.
She is polling in the single digits. But this could change. Even over the summer, Pat Buchanan was saying that Rep. Gabbard “was the runaway winner in both the Drudge Report and Washington Examiner polls” and gave a debate performance that “may shake up the Democratic race.”
Which explains why the establishment in the form of their once and possibly future candidate Hillary Clinton may be worried. Pesky voters! The cretins might not do what the elites want.
