It is no longer necessary to possess even a modest amount of knowledge about laws that would put millions of your countrymen in prison. Bill Clinton at least was good at faking it.
At perhaps I’m old fashioned, but it seems to me that a nationally elected figure implicitly (or explicitly) threatening half of his fellow Americans with military action is something that hasn’t happened since Civil War 1.0?
