I could offer a whole lot of a whole lot about the people involved with the ‘ban assault weapons’ ballot initiative here, but I won’t, other than to say one of the main players/financial backers of the thoroughly unconstitutional (U.S. and State constitutions) move is a current candidate for POTUS of the typical Democrat variety.
Anyway, my local typical-Democrats-can-do-no-wrong-ever newspaper, Tribune Publishing’s South Florida Sun-Sentinel, is now absotively beside itself in apoplectic hand-wringing chiroptera guano insanis demanding not only that ballot initiative be part of the 2020 election, but that the entire 2A structure of my home state be placed in the hands of those who despise any individual rights of any kind and most state rights as well (unless it suits their agenda, of course).
