Here is the draft resolution. It is both sad and hilarious. It is sad because it reveals the state of “higher” education today. It is hilarious because it claims that bringing the milquetoast Trump Jr. to campus “endangered students marginalized by the speakers’ white nationalist supporters” and that any expenditure violates campus policies.
Yet the left was OK with bringing an actual politician, Democrat Tim Kaine (Hillary Clinton’s VP pick) to the University of Florida during the 2016 campaign. They didn’t object to approximately 15 other visits during the last few months of the 2016 campaign to other Florida universities by Hillary, Kaine, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama. Nor did they complain about a campaign stop at the University of Florida by some guy who was then known as Governor Bill Clinton.
There is only one rule. The rule is that the left gets to do whatever it wants.
