What’s interesting is that there appears to be coordination between the anti-gun groups. No surprise, I know, but the idea of regulating normal sporting rifles–with tens of millions in existence–as “machine guns” under the 1934 National Firearms Act is new and being proposed by multiple hoplophobes at the same time.
Kristen Rand also makes the same recommendation: “Options for grandfathered weapons include background checks on all future transfers, mandatory registration under the National Firearms Act, and buybacks.”
This sub rosa coordination is how bad bills become law. Consider yourself warned.
