A reporter took a picture of him when looking for his daughter. In the book, he writes: “That photo made the news, and in the next few days I got so much hatred on social media saying I deserved to have my daughter murdered because I support the president of the United States. Mr. Pollack blames leftist political correctness for the attack. Police made “forty-five visits” to the shooter’s home. Mental health authorities “refused to institutionalize him three different times,” including when he was suicidal and when threatening to kill people. Why? Public school officials “had launched the PROMISE program to dramatically decrease student arrests.” There is “pathological unaccountability within the Broward County school district” and bureaucrats are pushing a “social justice policy.”
This is a disturbing read. (And I’ve only read the first few dozen pages.) But it looks to be a worthwhile one.
