A handy translation of the recent howling of the New York Times #MediaJackals:
When the FBI or Justice Department is conducting an investigation that may help Democrats (and hurt Orange Man Bad), it is necessary and vital and appropriate. Any accusation of abuse of power is “highly contentious.”
When the FBI or Justice Department is conducting an investigation that may hurt the Democrats, it is “unusual” and “likely to raise alarms that Mr. Trump is using the Justice Department to go after his perceived enemies” and “is likely to open the attorney general to accusations that he is trying to deliver a political victory for President Trump.” Especially if it may expose some of the Deep State’s machinations. That must never happen!

The truth has nothing to do with it.
