As I understand it, a UK-based fostering service placed children with Christian parents holding certain beliefs based on the Bible and shared millions of people (likely for thousands of years). The beliefs included taking good care of foster children.
In a reasonable world, UK government bureaucrats would say: “Cheerio! Nicely done. I’m chuffed to bits!” Or something of that sort.
But we do not live in a reasonable world. The UK government bureaucrats are not reasonable. So instead this UK-based fostering service is in trouble and may lose the ability to foster children.
Note the goal here. The UK government bureaucrats’ goal is not to find good and loving homes for foster children. Their goal is to punish political enemies–in this case, traditional Christians. Children are merely unfortunate pawns.

PS: Anyone want to speculate about what would happen in the case of an avowedly atheist or LGBTQETC foster agency?
